AKC Scent Work & CPE Canine Scent Sport Events

Our Scent Work trials are held at Teamworks Dog Training. At this location, we can offer you a consistent, controlled trial environment, without the strong confounding odors of a livestock arena, and without the slippery floors of a building not meant for dogs, like a school. We utilize special non-residue, non-tracer, odor-eliminating sprays and devices to remove residual odors in between trials and we use brand new boxes for containers for every trial. We do make a concerted effort to rotate search areas, and enrich the environment with new and interesting objects, so that the searches are interesting for you and your dog. However, we have a DEDICATED building for Handler Discrimination, that has NEVER had essential oils in it. We have also optimized our process, because we are familiar with the site and have ample access to it before the trial – so we can plan in advance, and map out where the searches will take place. We strive to keep things well-organized and efficient, and most of all, LOW STRESS for you and your dog. Our goal is to set you and your dog up for success. We know you have many choices out there to trial at, and we appreciate you choosing our trials. As always, Happy Sniffing!

SUPER Show & Go (Sniff & Go held at the same time as an Agility Show & Go and a Rally Show & Go)
Teamworks Youngsville Location. noon-4pm. $5 / 3 minute turn in one element. All 5 elements for $20. Interior, Exterior, Containers, Buried, & Vehicles. Birch, Anise, Clove & Cypress hides in each element.
