Class Goals:
Motivational games for getting and maintaining attention and keeping focus under distraction
Rally-Obedience Competition skills
The concepts in this class can be applied to competition sports like agility & obedience but are also useful in practical, real-life situations
Prerequisites
- Dogs must be Behaviorally Healthy and not have aggression issues with other dogs.
- Dogs must be at least 6 months of age at the start of class. No upper age limits.
- Canine Good Citizen title required (Take the Canine Good Citizen Evaluation)
- Distraction Proofing recommended but not required
- If you have not done Rally before, please consider taking the Rally Foundations Class.
- All dogs must have Rabies and DHPP vaccinations or titers. Proof of vaccinations or titers must be brought to first class. Dogs without proof of vaccinations or titers will not be able to participate. Pre-registration and pre-payment required.
- No shock collars, e-collars, prong collars or choke chains allowed in class.
- Pre-registration with pre-payment is required.
RALLY FOUNDATIONS CLASS
- This class is for anyone who is brand new to Rally.
- This class will focus on the elements of rally obedience: the heel, the front, the finish, turns, and navigating Novice level Rally signs.
RALLY NOVICE – EXCELLENT LEVEL
Prerequisite: Dog must be able to demonstrate a sit and down on 1st or 2nd command, hold posture for at least 15 seconds, and be able to demonstrate controlled walking for 25 feet. Dogs must have successfully passed a CGC test, or a Teamworks “Sports Plus Sampler” class, or a basic obedience class, or by permission of instructor.
- This class is for anyone new to Rally and or handlers familiar to Rally but with Novice level dogs.
- The class will teach the Novice-Excellent signs.
- Class will give handlers experience moving from sign to sign with critiques during the course.
Tuition: $200 / $205 (2027)
Duration: Once a week for 6 weeks
Class Size: 6 Dogs Maximum

RALLY COURSE OF THE WEEK
Are you preparing your dog for Rallly competition? Would you like to practice in a new location or in the location you plan to trial in? We have the answer for you! Rally Course of the Week on Thursday nights at the Teamworks Wag Center! This is a great opportunity for you and your dog practice your Rally skills. You will walk the course, run the course, and the instructor will give you and other students feedback on your runs. $30 for a 3-hour practice. One registration covers all of the dogs in one household. Pre-requisites: You MUST sign up at least 3 days in advance. You and your dog should already be competing in Rally, or have already had instruction in Rally. (Please see our Monday night and Tuesay morning Rally group classes if you need more instruction.)
- All dogs must have Rabies and DHPP vaccinations or titers. Proof of vaccinations or titers must be brought to first class. Dogs without proof of vaccinations or titers will not be able to participate.
- No shock collars, e-collars, prong collars or choke chains allowed.
- Absolutely no ear pinches, striking dogs, scruff shakes, or other physical punishment allowed.
- Treats, praise, and toys are welcome!
- Pre-registration with pre-payment is required.
