Pre-Competition Agility Class

Class Goals:

Improve your handling skills & your dogs understanding of all the obstacles on an agility course to prepare you both for running a full competition course.We’ll work on jump grids to teach the dogs how to adjust their stride & speed so they become confident with a variety of jump angles & configurations & build their actual jumping skills.
As they gain confidence & ability we’ll add sequence skills, handle jumps from more difficult directions, such as from tunnels & with turns, strengthen start line stays, lead outs & contact behavior.
Finally, we’ll put it altogether in a way that makes sense so you can plan your path around a course that works for you both.

Pre-Class requirements:

Dogs must have taken Obstacle Proficiency class or its equivalent and must not have aggression issues with well-mannered dogs.
Dogs should be at least 12 months of age, of a healthy weight, and without health problems.
Pre-registration with pre-payment is required.

Tuition: $160.00
Duration: Once a week for 6 weeks
Class Size: 6 Dogs Maximum
