Is your dog the next Lassie, Benji, or Wishbone? Perhaps you want to be the next YouTube sensation? Or just entertain your family and friends? Then come learn all about how to train tricks from the simple to the advanced! Trick training is far more than just teaching a dog to sit up or shake hands, you’ll learn skills and behaviors that will help greatly in other sports like obedience, rally, agility, etc. Tricks are a great confidence builder for shy dogs, and a wonderful outlet for those high-energy breeds as well!   In this class, you can build on your basic training skills by teaching your dog a variety of fun and practical behaviors.  Trick Title test is included with the class. 

Class Goals:

Students will learn how to train the skills they will need for the new Trick Dog titling program and have an opportunity to qualify for their first title!


Prerequisites
  • Dog must pass the Canine Good Citizen test, (or equivalent), or have earned a CD or RN.  (Take the Canine Good Citizen Evaluation)
  • Dogs must not have aggression issues with other dogs.
  • Pre-registration with pre-payment is required.
  • Proof of vaccinations or titers must be brought to first class.

Tuition: $200.00
Duration: Once a week for 6 weeks
Class Size: 6 Dogs Maximum
