Obstacle Introduction and Off-Leash Skills



Class Goals:

For dogs who already have taken the Pre-Agility class or its equivalent and have completed the Pre-Agility class goals.   Dogs must be non-confrontational around other dogs and know directional control commands.   Dogs should be familiar with targeting as a method of training.  Dogs will be introduced to jumping technique and conditioning.  Full sized obstacles will be introduced at less than the standard heights.  This class can and should be repeated as needed until dog reaches class goals.  This class is held outdoors in our fully-fenced and lighted regulation-sized covered arena with artificial turf.


Pre-Class requirements
  • Dogs must have taken Pre-Agility class or its equivalent and must not have aggression issues with well-mannered dogs.
  • Dogs should be at least 9 months of age, of a healthy weight, and without health problems.
  • No shock collars, e-collars, prong collars or choke chains allowed in class.
  • Pre-registration with pre-payment is required.

Tuition: $200
Duration: Once a week for 6 weeks
Class Size: 6 Dogs Maximum
Location: Teamworks Agility Arena
