Course of the Week Workshops
Practice on Thursday nights before you trial! Distractions provided as requested. Nested courses.
Goals:
This is a trial-prep class. Six students maximum in the one-hour class; two turns in the ring (3-minute maximum).
Three levels of nested courses: CPE Level 1; AKC Open; USDAA Masters.
Treats and toys may be used in the ring, but no treats may be placed on the obstacles or on the turf. Target plates are available for use.
Please call 919-340-0120 to see if the workshop has been cancelled. Course of the Week class will be cancelled if temperatures are below freezing, if the roads are icy, if there are thunderstorms predicted, or if the heat index will be above 95 degrees. The call will be made no later than two hours before the class. If we cancel due to weather, you will receive a credit for a future class. You must call the office for the transfer. If you cancel due to personal conflict, the standard refund policy will apply, and a fee will apply. This class is held outdoors in our fully-fenced and lighted regulation-sized arena.
Walk-throughs are only during the first 10 minutes of the workshop. Please do not be late.
Note: Dogs will be crated while handlers walk the course. Please bring your own crate if you prefer.

Pre-Class requirements
- Participating dogs must have at least 30 hours of formal agility instruction classes or handler must have agility title to participate.
- Dogs should be at least 1 year old, of a healthy weight, and without health problems.
- Dogs need to be vaccinated against rabies and vaccinated or titered against DHPP.
- No Dogs in heat (Three-week total cycle restriction)
- No Shock Collars, Prong Collars or other Physical Corrections
- Pre-registration with pre-payment is required. Standard cancellation policy applies.

Tuition: $10 per dog; two turns in ring, 3 min maximum each turn
